Cluster branding

Building upon the idea of unique brand positioning for individual companies, cluster branding puts the spotlight on a group of companies, virtually or related to a geographic location. The primary objective of the cluster brand is not necessarily focused on attracting customers (the exception likely being the tourist industry). Instead a common ambitious vision could foster collaboration among organizations (e.g. joint research, complementary skills) and attract talent or investors.
